Synnduit Solutions Ltd. is an emerging Canadian company specializing in cross-platform database integration. The name Synnduit is a combination of the words ‘synapse’ and ‘conduit.’ Part of the brief was to express connectivity and connection through the logotype. We opted for a futuristic visual style referencing modern technologies.
In developing both the visual style and the logotype, we chose to create a unique Synnduit font, which is integral to both the logotype and the entire corporate identity. The font is robust, and its morphology references both synapses and conduits, as implied by the company’s name.

The symbol of a horizontally placed ‘S’ represents both a synapse and a conduit, generally signifying the interconnection of information through technology. The morphology of the Synnduit logo combines straight and circular structural elements, expressing high-tech solutions in information integration.
The visual style’s color scheme is based on three colors and their gradients. The gradient evokes a high-tech software solution, and also references the origin of Synnduit Solutions through the colors of the aurora borealis. The color scheme and other principles of the visual style are, as with all our logotypes, detailed in a clear graphic manual.
